While logged into QuickBooks, when another user logs into the same QuickBooks data file, a window may pop up noting that the user has logged into the file. It may also scroll from the middle of the monitor and down, and back again.

Here are instructions on how to fix this problem:

1. While inside QuickBooks and as an administrator in the .QBW file, look at the top menu bar, and select Company, then Chat With A Co-Worker.

2. A box will open up with a list of active users. Click on the Settings button. Once there, uncheck all radio buttons, and then click OK.

3. Close the QuickBooks data file, and then re-open the file with your login credentials.
